Description
Hannes' father drowned at Gränenäs, where they lived at the time. Alvar and Hannes were cousins, their mothers Alma (Alvar's mother) and Hilma (Hannes' mother) came from Jungfruskär, born in Korpo, Jurmo and were siblings. They had a brother Alfred, who was killed at Hyppeisnäs where he was with his boat and was going to hoist sails, when the fall block came down and hit him in the head, with fatal results.
