On her last voyage, the four-masted barque sailed from Port Victoria to Queenstown with a cargo of 4,622 tons of wheat (56,681 sacks) from June 1, 1949 to September 19, 1949.
We continued from Queenstown on 25.9. towards Penarth, where we arrived after a week of sailing on October 2, 1949. The ship remained there as a storage ship with a cargo of wheat.
At the end of November 1950, the ship was sold together with Pamir for scrapping to Victor Vanloo in Antwerp, Belgium for 18,000 pounds sterling/ship.
