The steamboat KUGGVIK SS Kuggvik (previous names: Swartsjölandet, Svartvik, Adelsö, Houtskär and later Munkvik) was built at Bergsund's Mekaniska Verkstad in Stockholm in 1869. Dimensions: 27.15 x 4.54 x 2.18m; 114brt; 90 hp and 115 passengers (after minor conversions). 18.04.1908 the ship was bought to Houtskär and operated from Turku to Mossala via 22 local piers. 30.08.1918 W.K.Jansen bought the ship and it was named Kuggvik. Kuggvik operated various routes but mainly the route Turku - Nagu - Kuggvik. In 1935 the ship was sold to Pargas and was named Munkvik. In 1943 the ship was sold to Helsinki and sank in 1945 near the island of Kytö and became a wreck.
