Alex grew up in Kivimo, worked as a carpenter, went to shool at HKF, then moved to Helsinki where he started to train as a cantor but
did not finish, but started working at an aviation company, just before retirement he built his own house in Kivimo on his own plot and lived there until his death. Married to Mirjam Lindholm from Helsinki.
