In 1977, Houtskär Municipality bought the house from Per and Lisa Storkärr. The intention was to move it to Näsby and turn it into a local history museum, but nothing came of it. The house was sold on and is now built as a summer residence on Långö. The last occupant of the house was Levin Eken. You can also see the top of Kittuis' midsummer pole in the background.
