The sinking of the M/Aux Draken.
Here you can still see parts of the wreckage on the beach rocks.
The timber that ended up in the water was salvaged and sold at auction. Many Utö residents took the opportunity to buy good house timber. Several houses on Utö were built or extended in the 1930s with Draken's timber.
