Picture from a production line at LATE. At the back a hull-ready schooner, then a sheeted hull and loose frames at the various stacking beds. The ceiling shows the overhead crane, with which the hulls and their various parts in different stages of completion were moved.
There were 8 stacking beds, 4 on each side of the hall, on each stacking bed a specific work was performed, after which the hull was moved to the next bed. When the hull was ready, except for the rigging, it was launched and the process started with a new hull on the first bed.
