Description
Two sledges have arrived from Näsby to the fairway outside Kittuis to wait for the s/s Aranda to continue the journey to Turku.
In winter, the boats did not come ashore to the steamboat jetties, but stayed in the fairway off the island of Santjers in Kittuis, to embark/disembark passengers and cargo.
On Santjers there was a waiting cottage for the needs of these travellers.
