Karl Lag övre raden 5 fr. vänster, .

Description

Machine and Bridge's journeyman's course in mechanical engineering, graduate blacksmith. Lag became a village blacksmith in Björkö. He was a man of many skills, but his life went awry, he divorced his wife, who was 20 years older, lived a hermit's life in his hut and forgot to wash himself. "Hu hu" said Lag when the old lady died. Made his own tools, such as taps and dies of all dimensions, right and left handed, drills and everything needed, was home forged and fully usable, perhaps not so beautiful to the eye, but usable.

Miscellaneous

Lag's striking slogan when he had taken a hut: "No one has as much fun as the Björkö smith has. He gets so drunk that he falls over, and then he gets up likthe devel." Home from Snappertuna chapel, not born on Björkö Svinvallen, as he said.
