The couple Einar Marander and Alf Abrahamsson, came together on Karin Thorden, Einar as captain, Alf as chief, later on Thornator, Finntrader, Finnmerchant. They were Finline's flag officers. Alf was interned during the war on the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea.
