Description
Owner of several ships, mostly sailed by his sons. b/s Alma, Primus, Orient, ships Ada, Altaj, Olga, of which there were two. The negative's image is on reg.n:o 4015. The picture is included in A book about Houtskär 1997 page 141.
Miscellaneous
Jeremias Isaksson 1839-1918 was the founder of the shipping company. His marriage to Augusta produced ten children. Hjördis, Agda, Elsa and Aina, sons Kondrad, August, Axel who emigrated to Canada, Oskar, Berndt. Berndt commanded for many years in the F.A.A. notorious for being kind which F.A.A. skippers were not really known for.
