Miscellaneous

About two weeks after the photo, a very strong thunderstorm came over Jungfruskär. The thunder struck the shooting boards at Bjons, went along the galvanized wire to the cottage, into the house and knocked A. Lindberg unconscious. A fire started in the roof, but the rain came and extinguished it. When help arrived, August was dead and beyond help, three had to be taken to Turku for treatment, one had to stay for several weeks. A calf lying next to the house died, the dog disappeared and came home after a week. The current owner is Dr. Nordström. Lightning struck at Bjons on June 29, 1932.
