Description
Carl Gerdhard (Mattsson) Nyroos came to Berghamn from Vattkast in Korpo. Probably came as a student seapilot in the 1870s and worked as a seapilot at Berghamn until 1912.

The picture of Carl Gerhard should rightly be on page 199 in A book about Houtskär 1997, where his son Ernfrid's picture now is. Correction has been introduced in HLA. In the second edition of A book about Houtskär part I the correct picture is inserted on page 199. The picture is on reg. no. 8678.
