Description

The Guard's whale boat, which was used to train and compete in inter-unit rowing. Each unit had its own boat, which it managed. Every summer, summer parties were arranged with competitions in rowing, swimming, running, orienteering, shooting, signaling and morse, etc. The parties were organized by all associations in the archipelago, from Kimito to Houtskär, in turn. When the protection corps was dissolved in 1944, Mossala school got Houtskär's whale boat, which then became the school boat across Mossala Sound for the Björkö children. Later, it was cut off and got a straight stern , having previously been a snipe.
