Description
Cucumber buyer/transporter Edgar Mattsson receives cucumbers on the jetty. He checks the sacks to see how big the cucumbers the growers have put in the sacks. The growers had developed a bad habit of putting too large cucumbers among those to be sold.
Miscellaneous
The one with the white cap in the picture is "Tiki" = Klaus Arni, later a summer resident of Ö. Saverkeit. The picture is included in A book about Houtskär part II page 237. The negative's image is on reg. no. 8563. The image has been stained at the printing house but the corresponding image is on CD.
