Provenance
Bockholm

Place

The courtyard at Söderstu, Bockholm

Description

The picture is completely unique. According to notes in Milda Åminne's photo album, this is the first house in Söderstu. It is Johan Petter Andersson's house. It is something of a "miracle" that such a picture exists! The house has a birch bark roof, is painted red and has a fire escape erected against the roof. 3 negatives are located one after the other on the same reg.n:o and on the third, the repo photography has also included Albert and Matilda Lindström's house, which was built on the same site where Johan Petter's house stood. The picture shows how Milda Åminne put the pictures one after the other, house I, house II and then the house as it looks on reg. no. 3237.
