Funeral of Alexei (Alex) Mickelsson (b. 7.10.1914).
He was killed on March 12, 1940 at Vilaniemi. He was found in 1942 when the Finnish army retook the area and was repatriated and buried.
Alex was the first Houtskär resident to be killed and this was the penultimate day, March 12, peace was achieved on March 13, 1940 at 12.00. The Winter War was over.
