Jakob Lindberg's galleass was keelhauled at Maars beach, found to be completely rotten at the bottom, became a wreck. The galleass was called IMPI of Åland and was 1/2 owned by Jakob Lindberg, Rut and Rode's father (Rut Ringvall). Since the galleass sank near Maars Strandviste, the part of the ship that was above the waterline was chopped up for firewood. (witness: Rut Ringvall). Blocks and ropes as well as a lifebuoy and the ship's bell from IMPI are in the Archipelago Museum.
