Teaching in Hyppeis began in 1896 in rented premises at Jakobs, and in 1905 the construction of the Hyppeis school began, which was opened in the fall term of 1906. School activities ended in 1969, later used as an industrial hall (plastic boats, clothing sewing). Eastern part as housing. Nowadays restaurant and hotel business in the building.
