Description
Clipping from the newspaper Åbo Underrättelser in March 1957, when Knut Franzen fell thru the ice with his lorry.
The following day, the residents of Hyppeis pulled an extra warp and obtained 4 tons of baltic herring, which they donated to Knut so that he could afford to buy a new lorry (he was known as a reliable baltic herring buyer). Knut's comment is said to have been, "You didn't get any more." His new lorry was a Russian Jeep with tarpaulin sides, no picture available.
The writer in ÅU was Olof Åkerlind from Mossala.
