Walvoja, later also spelled Valvoja, was the Finnish Pilotage Service's first inspection vessel, built at the Motala shipyard in Sweden in 1876. According to information in the ship register, she measured 32.07 meters in length, 5.94 meters in width, and had a draft of 2.67 meters. There have been several ships with the same name, but all have been part of the Pilot Service. Some residents of Houtskär have worked on her.
