Description
On Korpskär there was an overnight house that fishermen had built, the house was simple, the walls consisted of simple boards that were sealed with cardboard (old paper boxes) on the inside so that it would not draw, no stove but 4 beds (high and low). They spent the night there to avoid having to sail or drive home for the night.
Miscellaneous
On Roslax Gloskär there was a small house with only two logyards, the base was built of stones quite high and covered with soil on the outside. They crawled in to the house through a hole in the gable that was about 80x80 cm. There was a wooden door that was put for the hole to the night and they slept on an old blanket on the floor. Only remnants of the house were visible in the 1960s.
