Description

This is the "Vranghuset". The house has a reed roof.
Inside the house, everything needed to build a boat was stored, such as boards, keel pieces, crooked tree trunks and branches, which would later be carved into a boat.
Vränger, vrang, vrång": ribs, natural growth and carved or bashed, curved wooden ribs.
The natural hooked 'blanks', after processing, were also used for rrevetments and knees, such as 'beto knees', (beto = place where you sit in a boat) etc.
