Valdemar was badger-legged, made his living as a shoemaker and was a good fiddler who was much in demand. He was liked by everyone.
The Eriksson siblings owned what is now in Fagerström's possession.
One brother was a master engineer and a sister, Fanny, lived with Valdemar in the small house.
