S/S Wellamo and S/S Kuggvik have docked at the pier. A "honor gate" is erected out on the pier and the banner says Welcome. The picture is taken from the land side. On reg. no. 3187 there are 2 negatives from the same occasion, but there the pictures are taken from someone on board the Wellamo. Finska Hushållningssällskapet held its summer plenum at Vesterlid and after the plenum the participants went by boat to Nåtö, where they visited the village's crops and spent the night. The next day the trip continued to Lappo.
