Married to Amalie Leipzig and later to Betty Engholm.
Houtskär's own photographer. Many of his glass negatives are preserved in HLA. During the 1930s and 40s he took annual confirmation pictures in the church. He also took personal portraits and views of Houtskär.
He also made lemonade in his own brewery, the Houtskär Water Factory.
