They were farmers at Knuts in Saverkeit for a short time.

Karlsson was for some time in America.
He bought and was a farmer on Lassas 1/2 homestead in Näsby, sold the homestead half, besides the house he lived in, to Hilda and Alfred Mattsson in 1914.
In the raised attic of the manor house, Anton furnished a meeting room/prayer house.
He was a traveling preacher for the Åland Missionary Society. He was employed there in 1900.
Anton lived unmarried. He lived as a  "sytninghjon" for many years on the farm in his own house, to Alfred's great annoyance.
His mother lived in a kitchen in the outbuilding on the farm.
After Anton's death in 1939, the Åland Mission Association inherited his estate, including the house, by will.
Alfred Mattsson bought the house for 5 000 mk.
