Description

The house has been a croft of vicarage.
Vesterdahl's croft is one of Houtskär's oldest houses, built perhaps as early as the end of the 17th century.
The house was Houtskär's first post office. When Houtskär's Church Folk High School was formed, the house was purchased from the vicarage.
The school's caretaker Ernst Lindell, his wife Gunhild Lindell and daughter Gunveig lived in the house.

The croft at Antas Näsby, called Vesterdahls.
It was owned by Houtskär Church Folk High School.
Residents have previously been the crofter Matts Arvid Vesterdahl b. 29.09.1839 Äpplö, his wife Eva Charlotta Henriksdotter b. 24.12.1839 Medelby, son sailor Oskar Arvid Mattsson b. 23.09.1865 Näsby, daugther Maria Charlotta Hildegard b. 04.11.1867 Näsby, daugther Matilda Eufemia b. 01.01.1870 Näsby, Vesterdahl's mother shoemaker widow Maria Vesterdahl b. 19.04.1805 Äpplö d. 18.02.1881.
