Description
Saga throws a line, there were no throwing rods in those days, you held a box between your legs where the line was. The lure, usually a herring swivel, was thrown and the line ran out of the box. When the lure landed in the water, it was pulled in by hand, whereby the line was again looped in the box, simple and effective!
