Description
s/s OSTROBOTNIA. Axel Granlund served as 2nd mate on s/s OSTROBOTNIA for 1 month 8 days until 16.08.1939. Master Vitus Isaksson. The picture shows the loading of props, which have been floated out and boomed in along the ship's side. It was a hard and dangerous job to stay down on the loading raft between the logs and sling bundles of them for lifting on board.
