After Wiklund's bankruptcy, the house and inventory were bought by merchant Adolf Österman.
Tyra Johansson later bought the house and lived there for the rest of her time in Houtskär with her daughter Maj-Lis and her husband Alf Abrahamsson from Medelby.
He was a chief engineer at Finnlines.
In 1991 the house was sold to the current owners, Sirkka-Liisa and Christer Friis.
